Lindsay Lowery is a lead counselor of an opioid treatment program in Concord, NC. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. Lindsay went on to receive a Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2016. Immediately after graduating, she began working at the McLeod Addictive Disease Center as a substance abuse counselor. Lindsay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate as well as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. She has actively participated in educating and providing services to those directly impacted by the current opioid epidemic. Lindsay has accepted a leadership position within the McLeod Center which has provided her with an opportunity to assist and guide clinicians in providing the best possible service to clients. When Lindsay is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, Layla and Amelia.
