Peter Baker has extensive experience in managing substance abuse and mental health services in the criminal justice arena since 2001. He has previously worked in a variety of substance abuse settings from 1992-2001. He holds a Doctorate of Theology from the North Carolina Theological Seminary in Clinton, NC
He has served as a state and national trainer for Drug Treatment Court operations, as well as having served on the Alliance Behavioral healthcare provider advisory board. He is very much vested in helping to sustain and create better ways to serve those persons mandated to treatment through the criminal justice system. Peter’s more recent years have specifically been spent focused on addressing the challenges of mentally ill offenders by helping them to acquire needed services in the community.
