Carrie A. Mitchell, MSW, LCSW, LCAS is a clinical social worker with the North Carolina Department of Safety – Adult Prisons Division. She is a mental health therapist within the NCDPS since 2013. She has been working as a therapist in the Sex Offenses Accountability and Responsibility (SOAR) rehabilitation program since 2017. Carrie works with adult men who have been convicted of committing a sexual offense(s) with the goal of providing them the tools needed to live healthy, acceptable lives, and create no more victims
Carrie obtained her BS in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University. She earned her MSW from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Carrie is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Additions Specialist. Carrie also has a private practice where she works with adult clients with mental health and SUD issues.
