Biography

Heather Manos, MD is a board-certified addiction medicine and family practice physician. Her interest in family medicine was borne from personal history and out of a desire to care for underserved and medically disenfranchised populations. She has worked in multiple medical settings, including the Indian Health Service in Cherokee, NC, family medicine, urgent care, and now addiction medicine specialty care. She has worked exclusively in specialty addiction medicine since 2013, serving as medical director at McLeod Addictive Disease Center and Medical Director of Outpatient Addiction Services for the greater Charlotte market at Novant Health in prior positions. She is currently the Medical Director of Addiction and Recovery Services at Amity Medical Group where she is building comprehensive outpatient addictive medicine services for patients to access in a family medicine clinic setting.
