Jordan Grob, LCSW, LCASĀ is the President of Operations and Programming, Elevate Wellness and Recovery in Asheville. She is a queer-identified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (C009084) and Clinical Addiction Specialist (3129), with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in an independently designed major, with a focus on gender and sexuality studies, and HIV and AIDS prevention education, from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. She worked for the past decade as a trauma therapist for young adults in a variety of settings, including inpatient residential treatment, sober living programs, high schools, and private practice.
She has helped found and develop curricula and programming for multiple organizations in both the business and non-profit sectors. As a leader in the design and implementation of clinical programming for other substance use and mental health treatment settings, socially and culturally conscious sexual education curriculum in urban public high schools, and an HIV/AIDS education pilot program currently implemented in Eswatini, she has experience working at various intersections of wellness, wilderness, marginalized identities, and health.
She brings to her work a passion for strengths-based and holistic person-centered care, and a profound belief in the power of safe and authentic human connection to facilitate healing.
