Roshanna Singley Parker is the Assistant Director at the Criminal Justice Resource Center in Durham, North Carolina. The Criminal Justice Resource Center is a department of Durham County Government dedicated to providing services and support to justice involved citizens. Roshanna is responsible for overseeing the agency’s Cognitive Behavioral programming, Employment Readiness Program, Transitional Housing, Adult Drug Treatment Court and the Durham Local Reentry Council. Her background includes extensive work at the State level with Reentry and Transition for offenders in North Carolina. She has worked with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety and the Governor’s Crime Commission.
Her work experience includes positions as a Correctional Officer, Probation Officer, Correctional Case Analyst, Juvenile Justice Planner and a Research and Evaluation Analyst. She has a wealth of experience with policy analysis and program development for juvenile and adult offenders. Her major focus for the last 18 years has been reentry. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University.
