Dr. Latonya Lee Niang, EdD, LCADC, LCAS, CCS, SAP – EMDR Trained is an advanced practice clinical addiction specialist. Dr. Niang has more than a decade of experience providing direct care with the various ASAM levels of care. Dr. Lee Niang is a faculty member and the founding program director of the Addiction and recovery studies program at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her current area of research; the effectiveness of clinical psychoeducation utilizing somatic movement and EMD for persons with substance use disorder. Dr. Latonya Lee Niang is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Elizabeth City State University.
