Biography

Pamela Morrison, LPA, LCAS, CCS works for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Services as a coordinator with the State Opioid Treatment Authority.  Pamela has over 30 years of experience in human services as a psychologist, clinical addictions specialist, and clinical supervisor. She has dedicated the past 25 years to working in the field of opioid, substance use disorder, and mental health treatment. Prior to moving to North Carolina in the mid-90’s, she spent several years providing home-based and community-based crisis services and working in conjunction with police departments to provide crisis intervention with youth and families. She has been a disaster mental health responder and trainer and has presented at statewide and national conferences on opioid treatment, substance use disorder treatment, and disaster mental health and trauma response. She is licensed as a Psychological Associate, Clinical Addictions Specialist, and Clinical Supervisor.
