She holds licenses as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. For over seven years, she has assisted Jeff Georgi with designing and implementing programs and treatment protocols for the Phoenix Center in Greenville, South Carolina, and the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS) in Columbia, South Carolina.

This series aims to provide clinicians with professional development by introducing them to an integrated model of addictive disease—the biological, psychological, social, spiritual, experiential model (BPSSEM)—and the evidence-based Modified Interpersonal Group Psychotherapy Group (MIGP), which benefits both patients and clinicians.

Jeff and Becky Georgi have also authored a new book, Beyond Shame: Healing the Pain Beneath the Surface of Addiction.
