Biography

Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSWA) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCASA), with a passion for empowering youth and providing therapy to children. With years of experience in prevention and therapeutic support, her work focuses on providing guidance and education that helps young people navigate challenges related to substance use and mental health. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Western Carolina University and currently serves as a Youth Therapist at Hights in Western North Carolina, where she works directly with children in foster care and group home settings to support their growth and resilience. Previously, she worked with Cherokee High School as a Prevention Specialist with Student Support Services, helping students access resources and develop strategies for long-term success. Through person centered  therapy and community engagement, she aims to inspire positive change—one conversation, one connection, and one example at a time.
