Carrie Gearing, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS, MAC, began her professional counseling career in 2003 working with incarcerated females. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. She has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor teaching various college courses related to psychology, sociology, and criminal justice. Ms. Gearing has worked as a Clinical Trainer, Program Consultant, District Program Manager, and Clinical Director within the NC Department of Public Safety (NCDPS), Alcoholism and Chemical Dependency Programs section since 2010. She is passionate about the clinical development of staff and providing quality treatment to those who we serve within the NCDPS.
