Biography

Nancy Harte, MA, LCAS, CCS, LCMHC works as a Program Reviewer for the state of North Carolina DWI Services. Nancy has worked in the counseling field since the 1990’s and the addiction field since 2012, in medication-assisted treatment, residential and day treatment settings, in Family Court and as a DWI provider. She is trained in CBT and EMDR and is a certified Prime for Life Instructor. Nancy brings to her work a passion for a person-centered, holistic approach, providing a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment and emphasizing mutual respect, safety, warmth, and compassion.

Nancy obtained her BA in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She earned her MA in psychology from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY. Nancy is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Clinical Supervisor, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
