Erin Jamieson Day, CPS Erin Jamieson Day joined Community Impact NC in October of 2018 and is the Chief Executive Officer. In 2006, she received a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Religion & Philosophy from Barton College. She is a Masters Candidate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2021-2023). Erin has worked for 15 years in the prevention of substance use disorders. She has over 10 years experience in leading a community coalition and training communities to begin community level prevention efforts. Erin is a Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) under the North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board. She has received Coalition Academy training through Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America, is a trained Recovery Coach, and has had training in racial equity and disparity issues through the Racial Equity Institute. Erin currently serves on the board of the NC Prevention Providers Association. Locally she serves on the board of the Wilson Housing Authority, the Wilson Housing Development Corp., and the Wilson County ABC Board. Erin is a recovery ally and has experience loving someone with a substance use disorder. She has personally helped navigate the behavioral health system in NC. She is a founder of Wilson’s Recovery Community Center, RC3, and an advocate of her community’s men’s and women’s recovery houses. Additionally, Erin works to be informed of local public resources, underground resources, and legislation that impacts those suffering from substance use disorders.
