Biography

Stephanie Jackson Grier, MS, LCAS brings over 25 years of experience in addiction, trauma, mental health, disabilities, poverty, codependency, illiteracy, and poor self-image counseling. With a Master’s in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a Psychology minor from Belmont Abbey College, she is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and Certified Clinical Supervisor, as well as a DWI and EAP Specialist. She provides supervision for the NCASPPB and consults with agencies for audit preparation. Her holistic approach addresses co-occurring disorders among adults, adolescents, and families. Her research interests include structured living environments, criminal recidivism, women’s issues, addiction as a disease, pharmacology, and evidence-based cognitive and behavioral theories.
